Listen to residents fighting back against road diets

Residents submitted a petition on June 22 meeting

The petition requested that the Council OPEN the meetings to full capacity for IN PERSON public attendance

Hear what residents say

Mary from Greenbelt 88

I hope this project does not go through - Too much high density in an already poor traffic area.

Pat

Remind the several members on the Council why we supported and elected them. We do not want urbanization.

Margie from DC Ranch

No one wants to live in a concrete jungle !

Annette from Scottsdale Vista

Too many apartments are destroying our quality of life.

Julie from McCormick Ranch

Promises of affordable housing are not true.

Sam from Peaceful Valley

The west’s most western town?

Sue from Scottsdale Ranch

Too much traffic now - is the city planning to widen the streets?

CW from Gilbert

They're doing this in Gilbert also

John from Cactus Acres

We need to organize to save Scottsdale. Count me in.

Kerry from North Ranch

Here we are in a water shortage and it's just going to get worse

Sarah from McCormick Ranch

Tandem parking is like tandem sky diving

David

I've noticed the clustering of high density buildings in Scottsdale south of McDonald. Traffic on Indian School and other east-west streets is a nightmare near the downtown area. Scottsdale Road and Hayden cannot quickly carry the increasing traffic while we see more development. Some of our streets are becoming canyons.
